Mineral oil is a common ingredient in commercial lotions, creams, and baby care products. Mineral oil is clear liquid oil that will not spoil and has no scent.  It is produced as a byproduct of the distillation of gasoline from crude oil. Mineral oil is the left over liquid, and because it is abundant, it is very inexpensive. In fact, it is more expensive to dispose of mineral oil, then to purchase it.The problem is that mineral oil is foreign to the human body and has many harmful effects, especially in infants. this moisturizer is simply amazing. the fragrance is to die for excellent. the cream works wonders for me to scrunch out the crunch and to scrunch in as a pick me up a couple times a day. it always energizes my curls and makes my hair so soft and well conditioned. i have very fine hair that is wavy and curly and thin and this product is the best!
